HTTPサーバーの作り方 (C#)

故あって HTTP サーバーを C# で実装したので、諸所改変して 1 クラスにまとめて、「 HTTP サーバーの作り方ステップ 1, 2, 3 」みたいにして公開してみる。
Visual Studio Community 2019 がインストールされている環境であれば 3 分くらいで HTTP サーバーが動くはず。
ドキュメントルートの中身 (index.html など) はご自分で用意していただく必要あり。


手順は以下のとおり

  • Visual Studio Community 2019 をインストールしておく
    • Visual Studio Installer のワークロードで以下にチェックを入れておけば良いはず。
      • .NET デスクトップ開発
  • Visual Studio 2019 (devenv.exe) を起動してソリューションを作成
    • 新しいプロジェクトの作成
    • C# コンソールアプリケーション
    • プロジェクト名・ソリューション名は SimpleWebServer (別の名前でも可)
    • ターゲットフレームワーク .NET Core 3.1 (.NET 5.0 でも可)
    • んで「作成」
  • SimpleWebServer クラスの作成
    • プロジェクトに SimpleWebServer.cs という空のクラスを追加する。
    • 下記コード (_SimpleWebServer_cs_) を今しがた追加した SimpleWebServer.cs にコピペする。
  • SimpleWebServer を呼び出すコードを記述
    • Program.cs の Main メソッドの中身を以下のとおり記述する。(ドキュメントルート, ポート番号は適宜変更して下さい)

  • F5で実行すればHTTPサーバーが起動します。
    • 試しに http://localhost を開いてみて下さい。指定したドキュメントルートにある index.html (index.htm) が表示されるはずです。

クライアントが送信したURLは任意のバイト列であると想定すべき (あらゆるバイト列を想定すべき) であり、これをそのまま string.UTF8.GetString したり File.Exists, Directory.Exists したりするのは何かを踏み抜く気がするため US-ASCII + Shift_JIS(CP-932) に存在する文字以外は例外を投げるようにしている。これが必要な処置なのかどうかは分からない。要らないということであれば if (!P_UTF8Check.Check(bytes)) throw new Exception("URL is not Japanese UTF-8"); を削除できるので、関連するメソッドも削除すればコード量は相当減るだろう。
同様に ToFairLocalPath も不要であれば削除されたし。NUL, PRN などのトラブルの元になるファイル名を弾くための大昔に作ったメソッドで、今だに使い続けている。今では問題無いファイル名も弾いているかもしれない。ていうか弾いてる。
